About Nailah.

My own journey of discovery through life, has been one filled with both  ups and downs - literally an emotional roller-coaster. It wasn't until I realised I couldn't  transform my life all on my own. Having now become a new mother to an active boy, I could already see how simple things surrounding him gave him joy and his flourishing potential to really embrace joy itself. My son had become my guide, my teacher showing me how to fully appreciate simple things in life.

With the insight from my young son, I now had a different perspective on life. This helped greatly to create a shift n my mind state. Realising I had transferable gifts, I decided to put my listening skills to good use. I often catered to the needs of others through listening, acknowledging and encouragement, whilst at the same time empowered them to recognise their own greatness. I asked myself, how could I incorporate my new found appreciation of life's simple things within my coaching.

In one moment, I had an epiphany, 'I can do this as a career,' and If I wanted to be a contribution to my community, particularly at a grass root level, I could offer my skills and services.

I realised I am empathic person and have a natural ability to not only listen and understand human needs but able  encourage personal growth within others. I recognised that seeing people's lives transform, gave me a sense of fulfillment, a sense of purpose, satisfaction and joy. It was then I decided I wanted to take this on as my career. I mean what more could I asks for?! Over the years I’ve seen people unleash their potential and they've surprised themselves.

Before this insightful revelation, I had worked in both supervisory roles in schools and the other end of the scale; retail. I naturally became more and more intrigued by the human mind, self development, people innate traits and what made them tick. As a result of my working within the community, it was then I considered several questions.

  • How I could help people to help themselves?
  • How could I help them achieve what they were destined to become and what were their desires.
  • How can I contribute to the world.
  • How could I help them to realise their own potential?
  • How could I help them figure this out?

"I could relate to this picture. I WAS AT A CROSS ROAD in my life - not quite knowing WHERE TO GO - how to achieve it AND HOW TO LOVE MYSELF IN THE PROCESS OF IT ALL"

My motto is, 'POTENTIAL HAS always been there - just believe in self and the rest will become achievable.
